This privacy statement describes how France Pilates (hereinafter «we», «our» or «the Studio») collects, uses and protects the personal data of visitors and users of the site francepilates.com (hereinafter «the Site»), in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 («GDPR») and the amended Data Protection Act.
1. Data Controller

- Data collected: Surname, first name, email address, phone number (optional), message content.
- Purpose reply to your request for information and follow up on our exchange.
- Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) or legitimate interest in responding to solicitations (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Shelf life: 3 years from last contact, then intermediate archiving if a contractual relationship has been established.
2.2 Booking lessons via Calendly
- Data collected: Surname, first name, email address, reserved slot, and any additional information you provide when booking the appointment.
- Purpose arrange and confirm your class booking, send you related reminders and practical information.
- Legal basis: performance of the contract or of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Shelf life: duration of the contractual relationship, then 3 years for commercial prospecting purposes, and 10 years for accounting documents in accordance with legal obligations.
2.3 Navigation Data and Cookies
- Data collected: IP address, browser type, pages visited, visit duration, traffic source, technical identifiers.
- Purpose ensure the proper functioning of the Site, measure its audience, improve user experience and, where appropriate, personalise content.
- Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) for non-essential cookies; legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) for essential technical cookies.
- Shelf life: A maximum of 13 months for audience measurement cookies, in accordance with the recommendations of the CNIL.

3. Recipients and subcontractors
Your data will never be sold, rented, or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. It is only accessible to authorised personnel within the Studio and to the technical subcontractors listed below, strictly within the scope of their mission:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): CDN services, network security and attack protection. Covered by Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- StudioJae (France) : hosting, technical maintenance, and site administration. Contact: [email protected].
- Calendly LLC (United States): Online appointment management. Covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Weglot SAS (France) : multilingual translation service of the Site.
- Google LLC (United States): audience measurement (Google Analytics) and, where applicable, mapping services and reCAPTCHA. Covered by the EU–United States Data Privacy Framework.
- Complianz B.V. (Netherlands): Cookie consent management.
All our subcontractors are selected for their data protection guarantees and are bound by contractual commitments in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.
4. Transfers outside the European Union
Some of our subcontractors (Cloudflare, Calendly, Google) are established in the United States. These transfers are governed by mechanisms recognised by the European Commission: an adequacy decision under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, failing that, standard contractual clauses (SCCs) accompanied by supplementary technical and organisational measures.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction or disclosure: TLS encryption across the entire Site, secure hosting, application firewall, strict access control, regular backups and security updates.

In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
